BLACKPINK has officially reclaimed the No.1 spot in the Star1Pick K-pop Idol Ranking (May 5–18), further heightening anticipation for their upcoming full-group concert. With each member making waves globally — from Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé at the 2025 Met Gala to Jisoo’s continued popularity — their July return promises a true BLACKPINK moment.
According to News1, the group will hold the BLACKPINK World Tour <DEADLINE> in Goyang on July 5 and 6 at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. Fans are already buzzing over what could be one of the biggest K-pop events of the summer.
🥈 Other Top Contenders in Star1Pick’s Idol Ranking
Here’s how the rest of the Top 5 idols stacked up in this bi-weekly popularity poll:
2. G-Dragon
Still a fashion and cultural icon, G-Dragon came in second. With his current ‘Übermensch’ world tour and viral appearances — including his stylish departure for Manila on May 16 — the KING is back in the spotlight.
3. LE SSERAFIM
Fresh off their world tour, LE SSERAFIM ranked third. Known for their bold, fearless stage presence and fashion-forward performances, the group will release their Japanese single album ‘DIFFERENT’ on June 24.
4. NewJeans
Although on a short hiatus, NewJeans remained in the top 5 thanks to their Y2K aesthetic, strong global fanbase, and back-to-back recognition in Billboard’s ‘21 Under 21’ list — two years in a row.
5. BTS
Rounding out the list is BTS, currently preparing for a complete group comeback as all members complete military service by June 2025. Member Jin has already released his new mini album Echo, featuring the heartfelt title track “Don’t Say You Love Me”, with a touching performance and MV appearance by actress Shin Se-kyung.
