🎤 BLACKPINK’s ‘DEADLINE’ World Tour Begins — 78,000 Fans, One Unforgettable Reunion

“I was nervous since yesterday… and I still am.”
— Lisa, just moments into BLACKPINK’s epic return on July 5–6.

After nearly two years apart, BLACKPINK stormed back onto the global stage, launching their highly anticipated ‘DEADLINE’ world tour with two sold-out shows at Goyang Sports Complex.

Despite Korea’s sweltering summer heat — 33°C at peak — the crowd of 78,000 fans from around the world gathered early in the day, filling the venue in waves of black and pink. Some even arrived in chartered buses hours before showtime.

🎶 A Setlist That Spanned Their Legacy

Opening with ‘Kill This Love’, the group lit up the night with signature hits including ‘Pink Venom,’ ‘How You Like That,’ ‘Playing With Fire,’ and more.
The energy was electric. From synchronized fanchants to shimmering ‘Bbyong-bongs’ (their official lightsticks), fans turned the stadium into a glowing sea of unity.

Each member reconnected with the audience in their own way:

  • Jisoo: “It’s the second day, let’s have more fun!”
  • Jennie teased: “Why are you all sitting? Day two is supposed to be crazier!”
  • Rosé joked: “Put your cameras down later — if you don’t, I’ll be mad 😄.”

🚨 Surprise: BLACKPINK Debuts New Song “JUMP”

In a special moment, fans got a first-ever live preview of their upcoming track ‘JUMP’, set to be released on July 11.
The high-energy anthem captured the spirit of starting fresh, together.

“I felt like we were jumping together,” Jisoo said. “It gave me strength.”

🌟 Solo Performances Shine Bright

Each member had time to showcase solo hits:

  • Jisoo performed Earthquake and Your Love
  • Lisa captivated with New Woman and Rockstar
  • Jennie ignited the stage with Mantra and Like Jennie
  • Rosé’s fans joined in unison during Apartment, singing along as if they were part of the track.

🧭 A Tour That Feels Like a New Era

In total, the girls performed 25 songs over 2 hours and 20 minutes, ending with classics Forever Young and See U Later, plus an encore of JUMP — signaling a new chapter for BLACKPINK.

And for the first time in their career, they filled a stadium-sized venue in Korea — a milestone they hadn’t imagined in their debut years.

Jennie: “We’re back as a full group after 2 years. Starting this tour in a Korean stadium means everything.”
Rosé: “Seven years ago, I didn’t imagine this.”
Jennie replied, “I did. Our dream came true.”
