🎤 BTS Blows Up the Internet with First Live After Military Discharge
BTS has officially made its powerful return—and the world couldn’t wait. On June 10 and 11, the global K-pop supergroup lit up the internet with their highly anticipated first livestreams following RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook’s military discharges.
🌎 15.8 Million Real-Time Views — ARMY Shakes the World
According to HYBE, BTS’ post-military livestreams on Weverse drew a staggering 15.8 million real-time streams in total.
- RM and V’s first stream on June 10 alone pulled in 5.8 million views.
- The next day, Jimin and Jungkook’s live gathered over 10 million views during its 1-hour 10-minute run, nearly doubling the previous day’s numbers.
Fans didn’t just stop at watching — during the streams, they showered the platform with over 157 million hearts in a single day, proving once again the unparalleled power of ARMY worldwide.
📍 HYBE Headquarters Turns Into a Global Fan Gathering
While the livestreams broke online records, HYBE’s headquarters in Seoul became the epicenter for thousands of BTS fans who traveled from around the world.
- Over 4,000 fans gathered near HYBE HQ across both days, waving national flags, chanting the members’ names, and celebrating the long-awaited reunion.
- Police were dispatched to maintain order, but the atmosphere remained festive, resembling a global celebration rather than a concert.
🏞️ ARMY Crowds Across Military Bases
Fans also gathered near the members’ military bases in Chuncheon and Yeoncheon to witness the historic moment. Some fans, like one from Brazil, arrived as early as 4 a.m. to get a glimpse of their idols.
To ensure safety, HYBE and local authorities arranged alternate viewing areas at public sports fields near the bases. Hundreds of media outlets also flocked to the scene to cover BTS’ long-anticipated return.
🎉 What’s Next for BTS?
- With Suga scheduled to finish his service on June 21, all seven members will officially complete their military obligations.
- BTS will immediately jump into fan celebrations with the 2025 BTS FESTA at KINTEX on June 13–14, marking their 12th anniversary since debut.
- J-Hope will hold his final solo concert, HOPE ON THE STAGE FINAL, at Goyang Stadium on the same dates, where fans are hoping for surprise full-group appearances.
BTS’ grand return isn’t just a comeback—it’s a full-on global event, setting the stage for what’s expected to be one of the biggest comebacks in K-pop history.
