🕵️♂️ BTS Jin Shares His Shocking Scam Story: What Really Happened?
In a candid interview with Vanity Fair, BTS member Jin surprised fans by revealing a personal experience with fraud — long before his global stardom.
🎙 The Lie Detector Test That Unveiled It All
On June 11, Vanity Fair posted a video titled “BTS Jin’s Lie Detector Test” on YouTube, where Jin answered a series of tough and personal questions under pressure. One of the biggest confessions? He was once scammed while gaming!
🎮 The Gaming Scam: “I Paid, But They Disappeared”
Jin explained that while playing a game, he once purchased an in-game item from another player. However, after receiving Jin’s payment, the seller simply disappeared, saying:
“I’m just going to take your money and run.”
The lie detector confirmed Jin’s story was true, leaving fans both shocked and empathetic.
🧳 Scam Warnings Even Before Debut
Jin also opened up about how, before debut, he received offers from multiple entertainment agencies. Yet, he suspected most of them were scams at the time. His cautious instincts proved wise, as not all offers in the industry are trustworthy.
📱 Mistaken Identity Incident
In a lighter confession, Jin shared how someone once mistook him for a scammer. After losing his phone, he called a number to explain who he was, but the person on the other end responded bluntly:
“This isn’t the right number.”
And then hung up.
🎵 Despite Scams, Jin’s Solo Career Shines
While these scam stories captivated fans, Jin’s music career continues to thrive. His solo album Echo, released this May, hit a personal best of No. 3 on the Billboard 200, proving his ever-growing global appeal and musical talent.
