A Triumphant Return to the Stage

After 1 year and 4 months, BTS’s Jin has completed his #RUNSEOKJIN EP.TOUR, a 9-city, 18-show fan concert series that stretched from Korea to Japan, the US, and Europe. The tour wrapped on August 10 (local time) at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, marking a grand finale to an unforgettable run.

From the very start in June, Jin’s tour has been a celebration of music, joy, and deep connection with fans — proving yet again why he’s known as the “Worldwide Handsome” and now, the “Worldwide Stage Master.”

A Heartfelt Farewell

At the closing show in Amsterdam, Jin addressed the audience with warmth:

“A month and a half of touring has come to an end. This might be the last ‘Run Seokjin’ tour, but it’s not the end — a new beginning with the team awaits. I’ll always be by your side, and I hope you’ll be by mine. I was so happy these past weeks, and the positive energy from ARMY has helped me grow even more.”

Record-Breaking Achievements

The tour set multiple milestones for a Korean solo artist:

  • First Korean artist to perform at London’s O2 Arena.
  • Perfect sellouts in Goyang, Chiba, and Osaka — including filling the 8th floor and restricted-view seats at Kyocera Dome Osaka.
  • Featured across the front pages of Japan’s top five sports newspapers.
  • U.S. records: Largest-ever audience for a Korean artist at Anaheim’s Honda Center; first Korean soloist to sell out the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

These achievements solidified Jin’s reputation as a performer who can command massive crowds in both Asia and the West.

Global Media Praise

International outlets offered glowing reviews:

  • Rolling Stone UK (5/5 rating): “This is not just a K-pop concert — it’s Jin’s world. The performances from his second mini-album Echo exceeded all expectations, showcasing his diverse artistry.”
  • NME: “Fresh concept, charismatic energy, and stunning stage production… Jin shone brightest when deeply immersed in song.”
  • Los Angeles Times: “A masterclass in fan engagement… The concert felt like a personal love letter to his fans.”
  • Forbes: “A stage designed to let the audience truly let loose.”

Beyond the Music

The #RUNSEOKJIN EP.TOUR wasn’t only about singing. Drawing inspiration from BTS’s official YouTube series Run BTS, the shows featured games, costumes, and interactive segments, blending heartfelt artistry with lighthearted fun.

Jin’s ability to merge sincerity with entertainment opened a new chapter in fan concert experiences, creating what many called “a new standard” for solo artist tours.

What’s Next for Jin

Though this tour chapter has closed, Jin hinted at more group activities ahead. With his words in Amsterdam promising a “new beginning” with BTS, fans can anticipate exciting announcements in the near future.

One thing is certain: Jin’s solo chapter has not only solidified his status as a global artist but has also expanded the possibilities for K-pop solo performances on the world stage.
