BTS Jungkook Faces Intruder at Home Hours After Military Discharge
In a shocking turn of events, a Chinese national was caught attempting to break into BTS member Jungkook’s private residence just hours after his official military discharge.
According to the Seoul Yongsan Police, at approximately 11:20 PM on June 11th, a Chinese woman in her 30s was apprehended outside Jungkookâs home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. She allegedly tried to enter the residence multiple times by repeatedly pressing different combinations on the front door’s digital lock.
During police questioning, the suspect confessed that she had flown to Korea specifically âto see Jungkook after his discharge.â Authorities are currently investigating her immigration status and how she managed to travel to Korea.
Interestingly, the incident was not directly reported by Jungkook or his agency, but by a nearby resident who noticed the suspicious behavior. Thankfully, Jungkook remained unharmed, but the alarming situation has raised serious concerns about his security going forward.
Jungkook was officially discharged on June 11th after serving in the armyâs 5th Artillery Brigade since December 2023. This attempted break-in occurring just hours after his return home highlights the increasing need for heightened security measures for K-pop idols.
Meanwhile, BTS as a whole is preparing for their full group comeback. With Jin, J-Hope, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook now discharged, only Suga remains in service as a public service worker, scheduled to complete his duties on June 21st. Fans around the globe are eagerly anticipating the group’s long-awaited return to full activities.
