🪩 BTS Makes Billboard History with Live Album
BTS is once again rewriting K-pop history.
Their live album, “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE”, just debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, marking their 8th album to reach the top 10 of this major U.S. chart.
It also ranked No. 1 on the World Albums chart, and No. 2 on both the Top Album Sales and Top Current Album charts.
But the most jaw-dropping achievement is what came next…
🌍 World Digital Song Sales: 1st to 10th? All BTS!
The album’s live tracks completely dominated the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, occupying every spot from 1st to 10th:
- 🥇 Permission to Dance – Live
- 🥈 ON – Live
- 🥉 FIRE – Live
This is the first time ever that a group filled the Top 10 entirely with live versions—and of course, it’s BTS who did it first.
🌎 BTS Solo Tracks Still Rule Global Charts
While the group shines, BTS members are also dominating as soloists:
Member | Song | Global 200 | Global (Excl. U.S.) |
---|---|---|---|
J-Hope | Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla) | #81 | #45 |
Jin | Don’t Say You Love Me | #112 | #48 |
Jimin | Who | #134 | #79 |
Jungkook | Seven (feat. Latto) | #151 | #82 |
Whether as a group or individually, BTS remains a global force in music.
💬 Fans Are Losing It Online
ARMYs are flooding social media with excitement:
“Live tracks swept the chart?? That’s insane.”
“Only BTS can dominate with live versions like this.”
“The kings are back. No one else compares.”
⏭️ What’s Next for BTS?
Despite being in their military service phase, BTS proves they’ve never left the global stage.
With their group comeback and potential world tour on the horizon, this Billboard takeover only fuels fan anticipation.
