Once again, BTS is rewriting history! The group has officially secured their 13th RIAA platinum certification in the U.S., setting a new record for Korean artists.
On June 24, BigHit Music revealed that the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has awarded platinum status to nine BTS songs. This brings the group’s total platinum-certified tracks in the U.S. to 13—more than any other Korean artist.
Tracks like “RUN,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “DNA,” and “FAKE LOVE” all received this prestigious certification. Jimin’s “Like Crazy” and Jungkook’s “Seven” also made the list, proving the global appeal of BTS’s solo releases.
The RIAA recognizes platinum status for singles or albums that surpass 1 million units sold in the U.S. BTS’s earlier hit “Dynamite” remains their highest-certified song with 5x Platinum (5 million units), a feat only BTS and PSY have achieved among Korean acts.
• “RUN” and “FAKE LOVE” officially entered the million-seller club in the U.S. • “DNA” continues to be a global anthem years after release. • Jimin and Jungkook’s solo achievements add new strength to BTS’s collective legacy.
ARMYs around the world are celebrating this historic milestone. “This is why we stan legends!” one fan tweeted, while others praised the group’s continued dominance in global music markets. The hashtag #BTSRIAA trended shortly after the announcement.
With Jin’s return from the military and RM, J-Hope, and SUGA soon to follow, BTS is gearing up for a powerful group comeback. Their chart dominance is showing no signs of slowing down.
