BTS member Jin has made a remarkable impact on the global music scene with his second mini-album, ‘Echo.’ Released on May 16, 2025, the album soared to the top of iTunes ‘Top Albums’ charts in 63 countries, including Germany, Brazil, the UK, Japan, and France. It also secured the number one spot on both the Worldwide and European iTunes Album charts.
The title track, ‘Don’t Say You Love Me,’ mirrored this success by topping iTunes ‘Top Songs’ charts in 61 countries, such as France and Japan, and leading the Worldwide and European iTunes Song charts.
‘Echo’ delves into the diverse moments of life, portraying them as various echoes resonating in different forms. Jin is set to unveil the live performance of his new song at Anderson C in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on May 17.
In related news, fellow BTS member V’s digital single ‘FRI(END)S’ has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify as of May 15. The song, released in March 2024, explores the transition from friendship to a deeper relationship. It previously entered the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number 13 on the UK Official Singles Chart. V now boasts 12 solo tracks with over 100 million streams each, including ‘Love Me Again,’ which has exceeded 1 billion streams.
