G-Dragon’s 3D Takeover: Shinsegae Square Becomes K-Culture’s New Holy Ground! 🔥
Seoul’s heart just skipped a beat—thanks to K-pop legend G-Dragon. Shinsegae Department Store’s flagship location has become the new global pilgrimage site for K-Culture fans, blending art, music, and jaw-dropping digital effects.
🌐 G-Dragon’s 3D Masterpiece Stuns Seoul
Starting from June, Shinsegae Square lights up every hour with a 50-second visual spectacle featuring G-Dragon’s latest track “Too Bad” from his Übermensch album. The giant digital signage, larger than three basketball courts, transforms into an immersive experience as G-Dragon’s signature daisy flower explodes in 3D across the sky. Visitors flock from around the world to witness this surreal moment in the heart of Myeongdong and Euljiro.
🔥 K-Pop Capital: More Than Just G-Dragon
This isn’t Shinsegae’s first K-Pop flex. Previously, it showcased music videos from ILLIT’s Almond Chocolate and TXT’s Love Language, accompanied by pop-up stores and interactive photo zones inside the department store. The area is fast becoming a global K-Culture landmark.
🎎 Blending Tradition and Innovation
Beyond K-pop, Shinsegae also collaborates with Korea’s Cultural Heritage Administration to display digital restorations of national treasures, seamlessly fusing the old with the new. Their latest piece, Sunjong’s Royal Procession, showcases Seoul’s evolving landmarks through mesmerizing media art.
🌍 Global Tourists: This Is the New Must-See Spot
Shinsegae’s executive Lee Seong-hwan proudly declares:
“Shinsegae Square is now a must-visit for every global K-Culture tourist.”
With G-Dragon literally popping out of the building, who wouldn’t agree?
