The rookie girl group under SM Entertainment, who only debuted in February 2025, took home their very first Rookie of the Year award at the ASEA 2025 held at K Arena Yokohama on May 28. And just like that, Hearts2Hearts solidified their place as one of this year’s breakout artists.
🏆 From Debut to Victory
With just one single, The Chase, they’ve captivated both fans and critics. Winning Best New Artist at their first-ever awards show appearance made the night even more special.
In their emotional acceptance speech, they said:
“It hasn’t been long since we debuted, so this means the world to us. Above all, thank you to our fans—Hachu—for walking with us. We promise to return your love with better music and performances.”
🌟 Beyond the Stage: Hearts2Hearts’ Rising Presence
Not only did the group shine as performers, but they also caught attention in new ways:
- Member Jiwoo served as a special MC, conducting interviews with top artists like aespa, NCT WISH, ENHYPEN, Timelesz, and Nexz—flawlessly speaking Japanese.
- They even took on aespa’s “Whiplash” challenge, showing off a different, playful charm.
