On June 28, BTSâs Jin kicked off his first-ever solo fan concert series, RUN SEOKJIN EP.TOUR, with a powerful and heartfelt performance in Goyang, South Korea.
But this wasn’t just any concertâit was a participatory, interactive celebration. Inspired by his self-made variety show Run Seokjin, the tour is a spin-off experience where Jin brings that same chaotic, heartfelt charm onto the stageâand into ARMY’s hearts.
Held at the auxiliary stadium of Goyang Sports Complex, the show opened with Jin stepping on stage via a buzzer button, playfully surprising the crowd before launching into a dynamic setlist that covered every corner of his musical identity.
đ¶ From Super Tuna to Ballads to BTS Hits
Jinâs live setlist was packed with surprises and vocal versatility:
đŁ Super Tuna brought the energy
đč Five songs from his first solo album âHappyâ
đ A full live performance of his latest EP âEchoâ
đ€ BTS mega-hits like Dynamite, Butter, Spring Day, and Mikrokosmos reimagined as solo stages
He even surprised fans by playing the piano live for the first time, earning roaring cheers and admiration for his continuous evolution as an artist.
This wasnât a one-way showâit was fan-driven, chaotic, and beautiful.
Jin designed multiple game segments to interact with fans:
“Telepathy Game: Connect with ARMY” â fans acted out prompts, Jin guessed what they meant
“Sing it, ARMY!” â the crowd sang chorus snippets, Jin had to guess the song
Spoiler: They werenât always in tune⊠and Jin couldnât stop laughing.
One of the most adorable moments came when the screen showed karaoke-style lyrics for Iâll Be There during a costume change, prompting a spontaneous ARMY singalong. It wasnât planned. It was perfect.
đ€ Guest Star Yena, Explosive Effects, and a Lip-Shaped LED
The first night also featured a surprise guest appearance by soloist Choi Yena, who joined Jin for a powerful duet of Loser, a track from his âEchoâ EP.
Visual effects were turned up to 11:

đ Water cannons
đ Air shots
đĄ A massive lip-shaped LED sculpture inspired by Jinâs signature flying kiss
Jin even connected Run Seokjin variety episodes with the live event, creating a nostalgic, meta-narrative experience for longtime fans.
đŹ Jin: âThis Tour Wasnât Supposed to Happenâ
