“It Wouldn’t Happen Without ARMY” — Jin’s First Solo Fan Concert Was a Full-On Interactive Love Letter

🎉 A Concert Made With Fans, Not Just For Them

On June 28, BTS’s Jin kicked off his first-ever solo fan concert series, RUN SEOKJIN EP.TOUR, with a powerful and heartfelt performance in Goyang, South Korea.

But this wasn’t just any concert—it was a participatory, interactive celebration. Inspired by his self-made variety show Run Seokjin, the tour is a spin-off experience where Jin brings that same chaotic, heartfelt charm onto the stage—and into ARMY’s hearts.

Held at the auxiliary stadium of Goyang Sports Complex, the show opened with Jin stepping on stage via a buzzer button, playfully surprising the crowd before launching into a dynamic setlist that covered every corner of his musical identity.

đŸŽ¶ From Super Tuna to Ballads to BTS Hits

Jin’s live setlist was packed with surprises and vocal versatility:

  • 🎣 Super Tuna brought the energy
  • đŸŽč Five songs from his first solo album ‘Happy’
  • 🌊 A full live performance of his latest EP ‘Echo’
  • đŸŽ€ BTS mega-hits like Dynamite, Butter, Spring Day, and Mikrokosmos reimagined as solo stages

He even surprised fans by playing the piano live for the first time, earning roaring cheers and admiration for his continuous evolution as an artist.

đŸ§© Interactive Games & Real-Time Chaos with ARMY

This wasn’t a one-way show—it was fan-driven, chaotic, and beautiful.

Jin designed multiple game segments to interact with fans:

  • “Telepathy Game: Connect with ARMY” — fans acted out prompts, Jin guessed what they meant
  • “Sing it, ARMY!” — the crowd sang chorus snippets, Jin had to guess the song

Spoiler: They weren’t always in tune
 and Jin couldn’t stop laughing.

One of the most adorable moments came when the screen showed karaoke-style lyrics for I’ll Be There during a costume change, prompting a spontaneous ARMY singalong. It wasn’t planned. It was perfect.

đŸŽ€ Guest Star Yena, Explosive Effects, and a Lip-Shaped LED

The first night also featured a surprise guest appearance by soloist Choi Yena, who joined Jin for a powerful duet of Loser, a track from his ‘Echo’ EP.

Visual effects were turned up to 11:

  • đŸ’„ Fireworks
  • 🌊 Water cannons
  • 🎈 Air shots
  • 💡 A massive lip-shaped LED sculpture inspired by Jin’s signature flying kiss

Jin even connected Run Seokjin variety episodes with the live event, creating a nostalgic, meta-narrative experience for longtime fans.

💬 Jin: “This Tour Wasn’t Supposed to Happen”

In a deeply emotional moment, Jin shared:

“This concert was a last-minute idea I had four months ago

The company supported me through tough times. And without ARMY, none of this would have happened.”

🌍 9 Cities, 18 Shows, and One Worldwide Seokjin Journey

After the Goyang shows (June 28–29), Jin’s RUN SEOKJIN EP.TOUR continues across:

  • đŸ‡ŻđŸ‡” Japan – Chiba, Osaka
