IVE returns with courage, vocals, and massive fan support across Japan.
K-pop sensation IVE is setting Japan on fire once again with their third Japanese album Be Alright, officially released on July 30. Known as the “MZ Generation’s Wannabe Icon,” IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) continues their unstoppable rise with powerful music, bold messages, and unmatched stage presence.
This latest release marks their comeback nearly 11 months after the album Alive, and includes a lineup of tracks tailored for Japanese fans. The album features the title track Be Alright, the OST DARE ME for the NTV drama “Dame Mane!,” and Japanese versions of Accendio, Blue Heart, and WOW from their Korean full album IVE SWITCH.
The message of Be Alright is clear: “Don’t fear change. Move forward.” The bright, energetic production blends perfectly with the group’s layered vocals, delivering courage to listeners with every beat.
Massive impact in Japan continues
Since their official debut in Japan in October 2022 with ELEVEN, which earned a Gold Disc from the Recording Industry Association of Japan, IVE has blazed an extraordinary trail. They became the first rookie to perform on NHK’s year-end Kōhaku Uta Gassen within just a month of debut, and their Tokyo Dome concerts for Show What I Have drew over 95,000 fans across two days — a milestone often dubbed the “stage of dreams.”
This year, their IVE SCOUT in JAPAN arena fan concert tour spanned four cities and brought in a total of 100,000 attendees, proving that their popularity hasn’t slowed down one bit. Their acoustic live performance of After LIKE on the popular YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE went viral, topping Japan’s YouTube trending charts the next day. They’ve also graced NHK’s Venue 101, further expanding their connection with Japanese fans.
All eyes on IVE at Japan’s biggest music fest
With momentum building, IVE is preparing for their debut at the Rock in Japan Festival 2025 on September 15. Fans are buzzing with excitement, especially after the group’s thunderous reception at last year’s Summer Sonic 2024, where fans’ synchronized sing-alongs sent chills through stadiums.
To cap it off, IVE will take the spotlight at the 2025 Coupang Play Series soccer match tonight (July 30) at Suwon World Cup Stadium, where they will perform during halftime and participate in the opening ceremony.
