On June 10, BTS’s RM and V wrapped up their mandatory military service with a heartwarming and unforgettable scene in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.

Fresh out of the 15th Division Military Band and 2nd Army Corps Special Task Force, the two idols greeted fans with military salutes and wide smiles. Fans erupted in cheers as RM, wearing sunglasses, serenaded the crowd with a surprise saxophone performance, while V held a vibrant bouquet and waved to the crowd.

RM shared emotional words: “We’ve had a shorter service than many, and conditions have improved, but I realized how much others sacrifice for the country so we can thrive on stage. Thank you for waiting. We’ll repay you with music very soon.”
