TWICE’s 10-Year Journey: From Confidence to Self-Worth
Celebrating their 10th anniversary, TWICE has released their 4th full-length album, This Is For, and kicked off their sixth world tour with a message that’s deeper than ever before: this isn’t just about pride — it’s about self-worth.
Since their debut, TWICE has symbolized energetic, colorful pop — but with this album, they’ve stepped into a new era. Rather than proving their worth through competition, the members now reflect a quiet, unshakable confidence built on years of trust, growth, and shared experience.
From ‘TT’ to Timeless Icons 🌍
TWICE’s early image — bubbly, bright, and irresistibly cute — defined K-pop’s third-generation girl group aesthetic. But as they matured, so did their themes. This Is For tells stories of self-acceptance, inner battles, and solidarity, embodying the journey from “trying to be loved” to loving themselves and others freely.
Their new anthem “THIS IS FOR” radiates empowerment, while tracks like “FOUR,” “MARS,” “RIGHT HAND GIRL,” and “DAT AHH DAT OOH” explore themes of fantasy, resilience, and unwavering self-trust.
‘This Is For’ x KPop Demon Hunters 🐉
TWICE’s participation in Netflix’s hit animation KPop Demon Hunters has been symbolic. Just like the characters in the series, the group once masked vulnerabilities with pride — now, they’ve learned that strength lies in embracing imperfections and standing together.
Their rendition of “Take Down” from the OST connects beautifully with the album’s message: victory through unity, healing through expression.
Global Impact & Stadium Ambitions 🌎
TWICE is no longer just Korea’s sweetheart — they’re a global powerhouse. From selling out Japan’s Nissan Stadium as the first foreign female act to fully opening all seats for their Incheon Inspire Arena shows, their stage presence now transcends borders.
The sixth world tour, also titled THIS IS FOR, opens July 19–20 in Incheon, featuring 360-degree seating and minimal reliance on stage gimmicks. It’s all TWICE — raw, powerful, and unapologetically present.
The July 20 concert will also be livestreamed via Beyond LIVE, connecting fans across the globe for a moment of collective celebration.
Why ‘This Is For’ Matters 🎤
This album is more than music — it’s a milestone of maturity and message. It shatters outdated perceptions of girl groups and redefines success in K-pop. With major global songwriters like Tayla Parx and Amy Allen involved, This Is For bridges East and West, past and future, power and vulnerability.
In an industry often focused on novelty, TWICE stands as proof that longevity and evolution are the new trend.
